Job purpose:

Based on the Daily Production Schedule the finished product is boxed as it reaches the end of the conveyor line. Accurate item counts are kept.

Key responsibilities:

To ensure that each production item is dated correctly, and legible as it comes off the end of the production line.

Pack production items in boxes if needed and ensure it is dated correctly and legible and make sure the case label and date match the product being packed in the case.

Check end of the line computer counts against what was written on the Finished Goods count sheet, research any discrepancies.

Maintain first expired first out (FEFO) in Finished Goods rotation.

Ensure that the Finished Goods cooler is kept organized and neat.

Competencies:

Ability to identify dates and labels and correctly match the product.

Ability to perform, count and understand basic math calculations (addition, subtraction, multiplication) and use a calculator.

Ability to pay attention to detail.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to read and write legibility.

Physical Demands / Work Environment:

This position works in a cold climate at about 34 to 38 degrees.

Must be able to lift to 50 pounds.

The noise level may be loud at times, must wear PPE when necessary.

This position works around moving equipment.

Must be able to reach, stretch, push, pull, kneel, bend, use arms and hands.

Employee may stand for long periods of time.
